MUSIC AND SHOW-CONTROL SOFTWARE SYSTEMS
- From composing several dynamic theatrical music scores every year, Allan Loucks created an intelligent multimedia software system that allows a specially-recorded music soundtrack to interactively follow and adapt to the actors movements and dialog during a live performance. This allows the music to dynamically change and develop in real-time along with the storyline just as it does with live musicians. It can also control external devices such as lighting controllers, robotics, and automation. It has been used by several theaters around the Puget Sound area.
- Allan Loucks, principle at ADGL, innovated, created, and designed the entire intelligent software system, including the audio-playback-engine, UI, music processing and assembling, surround-sound audio mixing, audio-capture, video-capture, adaptive control, audio-processing, MIDI, DMX, RS232 serial communications, synchronization, TCP-IP networking communication protocols, scripting engine, DSP, database, and multi-screen display functions.
